S4 [Deosil] Grand Opening Events!

With great enthusiasm we are announcing the opening of our 4th server. The world of Merlin will be welcoming new adventurers on its fourth server [Deosil] on June 14th, 2011 at 7:00 pm PDT.

Special Events:

So you’re ready to show this world what you’ve got, but you wouldn’t mind a little bit of cash in your pocket as you start your journey. Well Koramgame has three special events that can help you with that!

1. Welcome Gift to All: Simply join the Game, you’ll receive 250 Gold for free immediately upon log in. We want to give you a head start and a little welcoming gift is to show how much we’d like you to enjoy this game!

2. One Week of Free World Chat:We have opened up World Chat so players can get help from others regardless of which region they are in. This event will begin at 7:00 p.m. PDT on June 14th, 2011, and will last until 6:59 p.m. PDT on June 21st, 2011.

3. David and Goliath: The lowest level players to beat certain Bosses win Gold! For more information click here.

The lowest levels to beat certain Bosses win!

From June 14th , 7:00pm PST until July 5th 23:59 PM PDT 2011

Part of the beauty of Chronicles of Merlin is that it encourages strategy. A player of lower level can defeat an opponent of much higher level via the correct combination of formation, hero selection and gear.

This event is the time to show off your true skills. We are looking to reward the player who can defeat a tough opponent with the lowest level (based on the level of your City Hall). The bounty list includes:

Richard the Lionheart Level 15 200G for the 5 Players of lowest level
Alfred the Great Level 30 400G for the 5 Players of lowest level
Mulan (Hua Mulan) Level 40 600G for the 5 Players of lowest level
William the Conquer Level 50 800G for the 3 Players of lowest level

How to View Battle Reports:
Sun Tzu says: By knowing both yourself and your opponent you can be victorious. So before challenging your opponent you should look at the previous players’ Battle Reports so you may analyze the opponent’s level, formation, abilities, etc.

 
First click on the Enemy Army, and on the window that pops up click on the Strategy Button (Show on the picture above) .

 
On the next window there will be a list of the 5 most recent players and the 5 players with the lowest level who has defeated this opponent, simply click on one of the links to see the battle report. If you feel you might be strong enough to place in the top 5 lowest levels then you should participate in this event!

How to Participate
We will create a thread on the Forums and you can post your battle report under each designated thread with the following format:
1. Your In-Game name
2. The link to your Battle Report
3. Details on what formation, heroes, research upgrade and gear you used to defeat this Boss, please be as detailed as possible. Explain also why you have chosen such strategy and why it is effective.

Note:
Please be as detailed as possible, as this may effect whether or not you qualify as a winner of this event.

Judging Criteria
Winners are decided by the following criteria:
1. Players with the lowest level who can defeat the designated boss win the event.
2. If there are two or more players of the same level who beat the same Boss, we will be looking for who has the most details and descriptions in their post.
3. If the tied posts are similar in levels of detail, whoever posted a post first wins.

In Alliance We Trust
Join or Create an Alliance to win some Gold!

From June 14th , 7:00pm PST until June 28th 23:59 PM PDT 2011

Teamwork is of utmost importance in this multiplayer world. We would like to encourage players to form alliances early and to become committed to their team. Gold will be given out to Alliances of more than 20 members. The Alliance commander needs to start a new thread in the “Legion Chamber” section on the forums.
When more than 20 legion members reply to this thread gold coupons will be given to the Commander to be distributed to the alliance.

For 20-40 Members that reply: Forty coupons worth 50 Gold each
For 41-60 Members that reply: Sixty coupons worth 60 Gold each
For 61-80 Members that reply: Eighty coupons worth 80 Gold each

Posting format is as follows
Thread Title: S4 <your Alliance’s name> <Alliance Motto e.g. In Alliance We Trust>
Thread Content: A description of your Legion and the requirements to join.

If you want to recruit enough new members to join your alliance, it might be a good idea to be helpful and supportive to new players and to help them through the game. If we find anyone spamming the world channel with "Join XXXX Alliance", we will give that person a 10 minute world chat ban.
