Formation

When fighting against an enemy, the formations used by both sides will play a crucial role in the outcome of the battle. Chronicles of Merlin provides 8 Battle Formations for you to employ with each formation having its own unique strengths and weaknesses. Your Heroes may be placed anywhere within a formation so makes sure you place him in a position that makes best use of his assets.

Each time you fight a battle you use 1 Banner. You also recover 1 Banner each hour. There is a set Cool Down (CD) period after each battle during which you cannot fight another battle. Special Banners (i.e. Mine, Subjugate, Farm, Attack, and Campaign at the top of your screen) are refilled every day at 08.30, 12.30 and 19.00. When you upgrade your City Hall you will receive an additional Banner. Banners may also be purchased using Gold once the player reached VIP 4 or above. Banner Cooldown: Similar to Building Cooldown in that its duration will increase as the player fights more battles. All Cooldown times are reset every day at 05.00.
