[S5 Special Event] The Winning Formula

What is the winning formula to Chronicles of Merlin? An awesome gear upgraded into a killing machine and an invincible hero with the key attribute enlightened to the max. All you need next is to find the most suitable formation set up to combine these two powerful elements and watch the magic happen!

Who & When:
This special event is only available for players on S5. You may participate starting from now until July 17th.

This event is designed to help you to discover the winning formula to Chronicles of Merlin.

First off, you need to know the difference between the three types of attack. This is the single most important concept for you to develop your strategy and design your “hero build”. Read more about what Gambit, Normal and Spellcasting heroes do in this guide.

For either Gambit Attack or Normal Attack heroes, it is vital to max out their “key attribute” (Tactics/Bravery) and to find them a gear that would boost their Gambit/Normal Attack.

To win up to 500 Gold, all you need to do is to reply to this post with a screenshot of your hero’s attributes and gear.

For Gambit Heroes (Alfred the Great, Robin hood, etc.)
you need to post a screenshot of one of your gambit heroes with Tactics over 90, and a mount (horse) with Gambit Attack higher or equal to +772.

For Normal Heroes (Saladin, Rickon, etc.)
you need to do is to reply to this post with a screenshot of one of your normal heroes with Bravery over 90, and a weapon (sword/spear/etc.) with Normal Attack higher or equal to +396.

Normal Attack heroes benefit from high Bravery and gear with high Normal Attack. Therefore arm them with awesome weapons! A horse would be a waste for a Normal Attack hero since the Normal hero has no Gambit Attack. High-level horse should be given to Gambit Attack Heroes such as Alfred the Great or Robin Hood. These heroes will unleash deadly gambits when their Morale reaches 100.

More about “growth” of gear:
Different color of gear designates different growth rate. The “growth rate” is how much additional attributes the gear increases by per upgrade.

Please Note:
1. Each player may only participate once. Multiple entries from one player is not allowed.
2. Your screenshot MUST contain the URL to the game, your IGN, Your hero’s attribute and the gear’s attribute.
3. Gold reward is given to all participants with eligible submissions. The prize will be randomly drawn from a pool of Gold Coupons ranging from 500 Gold to 50 Gold. The amount you win will entirely be up to luck. You may at most win 500, and at least you’ll win 50 Gold!
